What We Do

We serve rural pastors and their communities through relationships and service projects.

Our mission is to serve, encourage, and strengthen rural pastors and congregations within the Appalachia Region so that they can be empowered to reach beyond the four walls of their church to address the needs of their communities.

“We believe that church is called to be the instrument of change in every community. Through faith based serving and loving neighbors, we partner with churches and enable them to respond to the needs in their community”

MEET WITH RURAL PASTORS

Moving outside the four walls of the church and following Christ’s example of serving others. (Mark 10:45 - “The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many.”)

SCHOOL FRIENDSHIP

Becoming the best friend of the local public school.

As these principles are implemented in rural communities we see powerful things begin to happen. Needs are met, hope replaces despair and the light of Christ shines brightly.

“If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings." Isaiah 58:9-12
